Description
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL):
- Do you have an accredited certificate in Semi-Permanent Make-up or Micropigmentation?
- Are you looking to upgrade to an Ofqual Regulated course?
Under the RPL policy, this means as you have already trained in this subject, then you will not be required to come back and completely retrain from scratch, but complete the assignments from home with the theory resources and your own knowledge/experience and 1 day practical assessments.
How to Upgrade:
- Make either the deposit payment (monthly installments with no credit checks) afterwards or the course payment in full
- Enrolment process
- Access to the online portal with all theory resources and assignments
- Once these have been completed and marked, then your assessor will invite you in with a series of dates for you to choose 1 (only 1 day required) to come in for your 3-4 practical assessments (as shown below)
- If you do not currently have either a Level 3 in Beauty or a Level 3 in Anatomy & Physiology then this course includes a VTCT Level 3 in A&P, in which you will also need to complete the assignment and theory from home and complete the 2 x A&P exams on the Micropigmentation practical assessment day
Course Includes:
- Registration with VTCT for the Level 4 Micropigmentation
- FREE Level 3 in Anatomy & Physiology
- Online Assignments to Complete from Home
- 1 x practical day in the classroom to complete your final assessments (and 2 x A&P exams if required)
Criteria
- Observation on Setting Up Clinic Space for a Client
- 1 x Lip Liner & Blush Models
- 1 x Eyeliner Models
- 2 x Eyebrows (at least 1 with hair & 1 without) – Hairstrokes, Powder Brow or Combination Brow
- Being able to use a Variety of Needles
- Being able to use Organic & Inorganic Pigments
All products and equipment required for the assessments will be provided (although you are welcome to bring your own machine if that’s more comfortable for you)
What is Semi-Permanent Make up?
Semi-Permanent Make, is the machine method of cosmetic tattooing. Fine Semi Permanent depositing pigment under the skin to create natural looking eyebrows. We cover Hairstroke, Powder Brows & Combination Brows (also known as Hybrid Brows) Eyeliner, Lip Liner & Lip Blush within this course.
