Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL):

• Do you have an accredited certificate in Semi-Permanent Make-up or Micropigmentation? 
• Are you looking to upgrade to an Ofqual Regulated course?
• Have you been completing micropigmentation treatments for 2 or more years on clients?

Under the RPL policy, this means as you have already trained in this subject, then you will not be required to come back and completely retrain from scratch, but complete the assignments from home with the theory resources and your own knowledge/experience and 1 day practical assessments.

If you have not been completing treatments for at least 2 years, then you will need to complete the full course: COURSE HERE

How to Upgrade:

1. Make either the deposit payment (monthly instalments with no credit checks) afterwards or the course payment in full – If paying in instalments, we will claim your certificate once the work has been completed and the balance has been paid.
2. Enrolment process (if paying in instalments then Direct Debit is set up during this process)
3. Access to the online portal with all theory resources and assignments
4. Once these have been completed and marked, then your assessor will invite you in with a series of dates for you to choose 1 (only 1 day required) to come in for your 3-4 practical assessments (as shown below)
5. If you do not currently have either a Level 3 in Beauty or a Level 3 in Anatomy & Physiology then this course includes a VTCT Level 3 in A&P, in which you will also need to complete the assignment and theory from home and complete the 2 x A&P exams on the Micropigmentation practical assessment day

Course Includes:

• Registration with VTCT for the Level 4 Micropigmentation
• Hard Copy VTCT Certificate
• FREE Level 3 in Anatomy & Physiology
• Online Assignments to Complete from Home
• 1 x practical day in the classroom to complete your final assessments (and 2 x A&P exams if required) – Once assignments have been completed and marked

Criteria You Must Cover During Assessments:

• Observation on Setting Up Clinic Space for a Client
• Health and Safety Understanding
• 1 x Lip Liner & Blush Models
• 1 x Eyeliner Models
• 2 x Eyebrows (at least 1 with hair & 1 without) – Hairstrokes, Powder Brow or Combination Brow
• Being able to use a Variety of Needles
• Being able to use Organic & Inorganic Pigments

Units: 

• Unit UV30468 – Client care and communication in beauty related industries
• Unit UV40462 – Management of health, safety & security in the salon
• Unit UV41304 – Enhance using Micropigmentation

All products and equipment required for the assessments will be provided (although you are welcome to bring your own machine if that’s more comfortable for you)

Payments: 

Choice of Either:

• Payment in Full – £995
• OR Monthly over 3 months after £200 deposit (£285 a month)
