These qualifications are a COMBINED qualification (2 certificates) for VTCT Level 4 in Laser Hair Removal & IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and Level 5 Tattoo Removal.
This course is ideal for those wanting to complete all factors with laser to add to their clinic expertise.
Entry Requirements:
There are no formal prerequisite qualifications that you must have prior to undertaking this qualification, as confirmed by VTCT on their documentation.

Level 4:
- Unit UV30468 – Client care and communication in beauty-related industries (Assignment)
- Unit UV40413 – Laser & light treatments for hair removal (Assignment & Practical)
- Unit UV40414 – Laser & light treatments for skin rejuvenation (Assignment & Practical)
- Unit UV40462 – Management of health, safety & security in the salon
Level 5:
- BT5C2.PE1 – Practical Assessment
- BT5C2.PE1 – Invigilated Exam
- UBT273 – Principles and practice of non-medical aesthetic therapies (Assignment)
- UBT274 – Advanced consultation for non-medical aesthetic therapies (Assignment)
- UBT275 – Advanced skin care for non-medical aesthetic therapies (Assignment)
- UBT276 – Remove or fade tattoos using Q-Switched Laser systems (Assignment & Practical)

Level 4 Laser & IPL Duration:
- Online Theory & Resources (including reading and training videos for theory – Once payment is made, you will have access to your theory to either make a start on your assignments or wait until after your training day)
- 2 x Practical Days in the Classroom (includes induction, case studies on MANY live models & 6 Practical Assessments – Based in Kent, ME7 3JQ)
- 4 x Online Assignments from Home (can be completed either before or after practical)
Level 5 Tattoo Removal Duration – RETURN ON ANOTHER DATE ONCE LEVEL 4 ASSIGNMENTS ARE COMPLETED
- Online Theory & Resources
- 4 x Online Assignments from Home (You’ll be given access to the online theory portal at the same time as Level 4 theory)
- 2 x Practical Days in the Classroom (includes case studies on live models and 10 Practical Assessments (case studies required to complete as part of your practical assessments – Based in Kent, ME7 3JQ)
- OPTIONAL: Further 1 – 2 days, the following month/when convenient for you, to complete the case studies if these were not completed in full on the training days
- 1 x Invigilated Exam (EITHER: Invigilated Online From Home or in our Centre the day before your practical examination – Based in Kent, ME7 3JQ)
- 1 x Practical Examination Day with VTCT (in our centre – Based in ME7 3JQ)
Payments
Choice of either:
- Deposit – £200 (Balance to be paid 7 days before Level 4 practical dates)
- Payment in full – £2895 – SAVING £350 AS A PACKAGE (normally £3245 if purchased separately)
- Payment Plans available over 3,6,9 or 12 months with a £300 deposit (no credit checks or 3rd party finance companies)
