Description
The VTCT Skills Level 3 Award in Adult Basic Life Support, AED and Management of Anaphylaxis is aimed at those learners who have an interest or responsibility to attain knowledge and practical competences required to provide basic life support and manage anaphylaxis in emergency situations.
This course is valid for 1 year – The learner must retake this qualification prior to the expiry date to remain qualified

Course Criteria:
- Be able to assess the casualty
- Be able to perform the Recovery Position
- Be able to perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
- Be able to provide safe use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
- Be able to manage anaphylaxis in an emergency (EpiPen / Auto-Injectors)
Course Duration:
- Online Theory
- 1/2 Day Practical in the Centre
- 1 x Assignment from Home
Entry Requirements:
- At Level 3 (or above)
- Aged 16 and Over
