THIS COURSE IS FOR THOSE THAT ARE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE WITH NO REGULATED COURSES  – includes FREE Level 3 Basic Life Support

This Course is Both Level 3, 4 & 5 Combined

**This course is the only pathway for non-healthcare professionals (non-medics) to further their career to Level 7 in Aesthetics Practice**

• CO402 – Client Consultation for Aesthetic Procedures
• AP401 – Biochemistry and Biology of Cells
• AP402 – Skin Morphology and the Inflammatory Response
• AP403 – Skin Disorders and Diseases Relative to Aesthetic Practice
• AP409 – Skin Rejuvenation using Microneedling
• AP410 – Skin Rejuvenation using Superficial Chemical Peels
• AP301 – Skincare to Support Aesthetic Procedures

Entry Requirements

• Industry Experienced – If Learner has no Ofqual Regulated Certificates (to be discussed with the Centre)
• PLUS FREE: Level 3 Basic Life Support (BLS) and anaphylaxis management training

Attendance (How the Course Works)

• Online Zoom Day (For Introduction & Theory)
• Theory: Training Videos & Reading From Home (for research for your assignments)
• Day 1 & 2: Practical Training and Practical Assessments
• Day 3: Any practical assessments that need to be completed that have not been completed in Days 1 & 2
• Optional Additional Day: For Level 3 Basic Life Support (for those that need to include this certificate if not already achieved) ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATE
• Additional Day: Exam (Multiple Choice Questions) – Can be Completed on the Same Day as Practical days
• Online Assignments: From Home (once practical assessments have been completed)
• Case Studies: Completed from home with a certificate for your insurance
• Duration for Completion: 12-20 Weeks (with full support from your assessor for additional guidance)

Assessments Criteria:

Practical Assessments: (Completed in Class)

• 4 x Superficial Peels
• 6 x Microneedling (up to 1mm depth)

Case Studies:(Completed from Home)

• 6 x Superficial Peels
• 6 x Needling (up to 1mm depth) 

Written Assessments:

• 8 x SAQ Assignments (Short answer questions) – completed from home
• Additional Resources Reading Materials & Training Videos From Home for guidance with your research

Exam:

• 1 x Multiple Choice Question Exam

• Online Theory Reading & Training Videos From Home
• Day 1 & 2: Training (which includes: Assignment Writing & 10 Formative Assessments – 4 x Microneedling, 2 x Dermaroller & 4 x Medium Grade Peel)
• Day 3: 8 Practical Assessments (which includes 12 Final Studies – 3 x Microneedling, 1 x Dermaroller & 4 x Medium Grade Peel – This is a longer day to complete all assessments at HEE Standard)
• Online Assignments From Home (once practical assessments have been completed)

PLEASE NOTE: You can choose whether these are consecutive days or spread out over the course – this is a discussions with your assessor during your Individual Learning Plan with your assessor during induction
